This agreement is between LAW FOR LOVE LLC ("Mediator") and you, a potential client, for the purpose of inviting your loved one or other party to private mediation.
LAW FOR LOVE has a high success rate for returned calls, emails, and scheduling from the person invited to participate in mediation or other alternative dispute resolution processes which may be appropriate for your situation. However, LAW FOR LOVE cannot guarantee a response. Mediation, unlike litigation, is a voluntary process. The other party is free to ignore our request.
Using the information you provided us about your loved one or other party, we will draft an email invitation which we believe will speak to their motivations for exploring this process.
Before we send the invitation, we will email it to you for your review and approval.
After you approve the email, we will send it to your loved one or other party and provide them an average of 7–14 days to respond.
The person invited to mediation will typically take time to research our firm, social media, and other publicly available information to decide whether or not they wish to engage.
Once we hear back from your loved one or interested party, we typically invest 60–90 minutes hearing their side. When the opportunity presents itself, we offer emotional support, pastoral care, prayer, or other spiritual-emotional support that is appropriate during that interaction.
If we believe your situation is a good fit for ongoing support, we will send an email proposal to both of you with an outline of your relationship, barriers that must be navigated, and the specific approach we recommend for rebuilding trust and communication in your relationship.
If legal drafting services are necessary, we will propose those services in a separate email and require a separate signed agreement authorizing services.
In the event your loved one or interested party ignores our invitation, we will provide an additional 60-minute strategy call with you to discuss your options and recommended next steps.
